Arlee sits at the southern end of the Flathead Indian Reservation, in the Jocko Valley along US-93 between Missoula and Polson. It's a small community with a strong ranching base, a steady pipeline of residential and agricultural projects, and an annual rhythm tied to seasons and the land. Construction here tends to be practical — foundations, driveways, ag pads, fill, road base, septic systems — work that needs to be done right and delivered when promised.
Glacier Lake Sand & Gravel delivers ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and decorative rock to Arlee from our Polson yard. We're about 50 miles north on US-93, and we make the run regularly during the busy season.
From rural foundations and ag concrete to road base and decorative rock — the materials that keep Jocko Valley projects moving.
We deliver ready-mix concrete throughout Arlee and the Jocko Valley. The projects we see here range from new residential foundations on rural lots to ag-related pours — feedlot pads, equipment slabs, milk-house floors, and outbuilding foundations.
Common Arlee concrete applications
Residential foundations, basement walls, and footings
Long rural driveways and concrete approaches
Garage, shop, and outbuilding slabs
Agricultural pads, equipment slabs, and feedlot work
Stock-tank pads and watering installations
Small commercial slabs
Aggregate demand in Arlee runs strong — long rural drives need road base and crushed rock, building sites need fill, and septic installations need spec'd sand.
What we deliver to Arlee
Road base
for rural drives and access roads
Crushed stone
for driveways, drainage, and base
fill dirt
for site prep and grading
septic sand
for rural septic system installations
Concrete sand, mason sand, pea gravel
for residential and ag projects
For larger Arlee jobs that need significant aggregate volume, our portable crushing and screening plant can travel to the job site to produce material on location — eliminating the trucking time on big projects.
For Arlee landscaping and home-improvement projects, we deliver our signature Glacier Lake Rainbow Pebble, Chip, and Cobble by the bag, super bag, or bulk truck. Naturally tumbled by the Cordilleran Ice Sheet, these stones are available in 40-pound bags (60 per pallet), 3,000-pound super bags, or bulk by the truckload.
A lot of suppliers don't love long-distance rural deliveries. We're not a lot of suppliers — we built our business on delivering to addresses that don't show up cleanly on GPS, on roads that aren't all paved, to projects where the contractor is also the property owner. We know the Jocko Valley.
Whether it's a septic sand spec from your installer or a road base spec from a county engineer, we stock and deliver to the right specs. For Federal, State, and Local projects, we can meet road-material specifications.
We're a Montana family business. When you call, you're talking to people who know the area, know the seasons, and have a stake in doing right by their customers.
Arlee is at the outer edge of our standard delivery zone. We quote it honestly — including any delivery charge — so you know up front what you're paying. No surprises on the invoice.

Arlee's mix of residential, agricultural, and rural-commercial work is something we're familiar with. A few specific things we factor in for every Jocko Valley delivery:
The Jocko Valley sees real winter weather. We deliver year-round, but on winter days we monitor US-93 and adjust. If we can't deliver safely, we'll call and reschedule — not show up and put your crew at risk.
Long private drives, gates, livestock, soft spots, low overhangs. Tell us what we should know when you book — gate codes, livestock to watch for, access conditions — and we'll get the load where you need it.
Arlee is on the Flathead Indian Reservation. We're respectful of jurisdiction and tribal authority and work within whatever permits and protocols a project requires.

Arlee is at the outer edge of our standard delivery zone, so there may be a modest delivery fee depending on load size and time of year. We'll quote it honestly up front so you know what you're paying.
We accept small orders. For very small loads, there may be a short-load fee — we'll tell you when you call. Often the right move for small Arlee jobs is to combine a short load with a sand or aggregate delivery on the same trip.

Yes. We operate year-round with adjusted hours: 7 AM–5 PM March through November, and 8 AM–4 PM December through February. Winter concrete may require additional admixtures depending on temperatures — just let us know the conditions when you call.
